Clay Pebble Bowls

Here are some more photos of my students' colorful bowls from the Winter EC art show, if you'd like to see. They turned out really great, I think.

Little Miss Maya

On our way back from Wisconsin, we stopped in Bloomington for a couple days for more family-holiday-fun-times. As usual, I took a lot of photos of Maya and not much else.
I shall title this one: Maya puts Mama down for a nap.
Her "ha" (hat) was very exciting to take n and off.
We also got to see Michal and Frank's new gigantic studio space they built on their land. It will be a wood shop, a metalsmith shop, a gallery, a glass studio, and a photo studio. Did I mention how huge it is? This room is going to be the metalsmith shop:
The wood shop will be the front room of the building. Frank already brought in a lot of his fancy wood:
We also got to check out the downtown area of Bloomington, which we never managed to make time for on previous visits.

Wrapped Twig

Eli made me this necklace out of a twig he wrapped in gold thread. Isn't it pretty? I think he should make a bunch and sell them.

A Few Days in Madison

We travelled to Wisconsin for a few days over the holidays. It was -14 degrees, but I have to admit the freshly fallen snow was beautiful.
I even bought myself some Badger gear to show my spirit.
We got to see Adam and take unflattering photos.
Lily acted totally adorable.
I found another reason to be impressed with Wyn - his long-term puzzle attention span.

We ate a lot, and pre-celebrated my birthday with Aunt Mary and Uncle Dean.
Here is my mom-made cake:
And then we headed to Indiana. More photos soon...
