Garden Time

It's been up near 70 degrees and really pleasant for being outside, so we actually did a little bit of yard work today, just raking and picking up sticks and branches. The yard is a wintery mess so it felt good to as least get started on clearing it out. Eli wants to build an archery target in the backyard and also grow some veggies. There is a sad, barren flower bed in front of Darby's doghouse that I am going to make pretty, but I'm not sure how. What are some pretty but easy/low maintenance flowers I could put there?

Stick with a perennial garden, for sure. And make sure to plant things that will bloom at different times during the spring/summer/fall. Is it full sun?
