i know i am breathing in

i spent today in the fibers studio working on a project that's due wednesday. i drew a little picture of lungs, then burned it onto a silkscreen and screenprinted it on to fabric (about a million times). then i stitched pairs of the prints together and stuffed them to make them 3 dimensional. the above photo is pre-stuffing, and here they are after i filled them and stitched up the tops:

now i think i want to string them up to make a garland of sorts, but i'm not sure how or with what. but maybe i hang too many things? maybe i should display them some other way - set them up in rows on a shelf? pile them all together in a big bowl? i really like how things look when they're hanging up, though. there is something i find really beautiful about it.
more pictures tomorrow....
