out on the town

here are some photos from friday, when it felt very suddenly like summer. it was 87 degrees in chicago, so the requirement for finding a place to hang out was simple: outdoor seating.

here are the pretty pink drinks we drank. i only had one, because i am a drinking lightweight.















and here is the view from our table. the sky was threatening rain, but the buildings were still all lit up with sun.















it didn't end up raining, but i did end up more than a little tipsy from my one fancy drink (no surprise).

also, here are some crochet strawberries i made a while ago. they are in my etsy shop, and are being featured as "etsy item of the day" over here. cool, right?
